There was a fabulous result for Seabuckthorn Scotland at the Great Taste Golden Fork awards in London in September, as East Lothian’s producers of vitamin-packed berry juice took the first ever Golden Fork for Sustainability.
The new award is one of two created to celebrate businesses that not only make delicious products, but also conduct themselves in ways that ensure they also look after their communities, teams, environment and supply chain.
There are 16 awards in total, recognising food suppliers from across Europe and around the world, with specific awards for the four home nations of the United Kingdom. The Golden Fork from Scotland was won by Scottish Sea Salt Flakes from Blackthorn Salt in Ayrshire.
