About us

Garleton Hills with North Berwick Law and Bass Rock in the distance
– the sea, the coast, the rolling farmland and the glorious Lammermuir hills. A stunning backdrop to some of the finest food and drink in Scotland.

Our picturesque county is home to an impressive variety of food and drink businesses ranging from craft beers, artisan gins and wild foraged liqueurs, via the best of certified Scottish meat, fish, seafood and dairy, to treats such as traditional ice cream and hand-crafted chocolate.

was established in August 2016 to celebrate the provenance and quality of our local food and drink businesses, and to encourage their growth and sustainability. It has been a delight to see East Lothian brands taking prominent positions in retailers nationwide and featuring on the menus of restaurants and cafes throughout Scotland.

In 2021, we gained a new lease of life when our members voted to keep the organisation running for a second five-year term, taking us up to 2026.
